Week 3

In the third week of the course we look at splitting up programs into smaller parts called methods. Moreover, we look at adding information to lists. We also look at how to find and fix errors in your code.

The table of contents above lists the topics of the third week of the course. By the end of this week, you should:

  • understand the different types of errors that you can encounter.
  • be comfortable debugging code using a debugger and print statements.
  • be able to write a method, and add it to your programming toolbox
  • be able to use lists to more easily store data
